Designers for Dogs
With the pet products market in the United States hovering around the 30-billion dollar level, top designers have come out with clothing, shampoos and skin care supplies for Fido. Some of the famous names offering products for your pet include Harley Davidson, which has a line of biker clothes for your best friend.

John Paul DeJoria, the co-founder of Paul Mitchell has developed a shampoo made of tea tree oil and oatmeal. He calls his new line John Paul Pet. Fashion designer Michael Simon jumped on the bandwagon in 1999, offering clothing and jewelry for dogs. Origins, a division of the Estee Lauder Co., also has a line of pet shampoos and sprays for Fido and Felix. And Old Navy launched a pet wear line a few years ago and reports it is doing well.
